The Pitztal valley in Tirol boasts a total of 380 kilometres of signposted hiking and Nordic Walking trails in three hiking areas. The hiking area Hochzeiger offers 100 kilometres of hiking trails and has been awarded the Tirolean Seal of Quality for the high standard of the hiking paths. Hikers can take the easy way up in the Hochzeiger cable car which travels from the valley station (1,450 metres) up to the middle station Zeiger restaurant (2,000 metres). In good weather, the 6-person-chairlift takes visitors up to the Sechszeiger mountain at an elevation of 2,370 metres. More information & tour suggestions

Pitztal Summer Card

Enjoy free admission to attractions in the Pitztal and its surroundings every day. You will receive your “Pitztal Sommer Card” from your accommodation provider upon arrival. The card gives you free access to the cable cars and lifts, or the XP Adventure park every day. In addition, you have free daily access to other participating experience providers such as museums, swimming lake, indoor climbing park and bouldering hall, Steinbock Centre plus free use of public buses in the Pitztal all the way to the Imst train station or Imst Postplatz.
